I almost never saw wagons of these, compared to the previous generation where wagons were everywhere.

Actually, for me it's the other way around

I see more of these than wagons of the previous generation.

I drive a silver Taurus sedan. I used to count the cars i'd go past that had the exact same underpinnings. One day I went into work and between wagons, sedans and Mercuries I passed 23. True story.

Same here I cannot recall the last time I saw a 4th gen Taurus wagon. I like them have been looking for a clean one for a daily.
